NACD Poster Contest

2018 NACD Poster Contest

Each year, the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) holds a poster contest based on an annual stewardship theme.  The contest gives students a way to express their views on natural resource issues through the medium of art.  The contest is open to students in grades K-12.  Students submit their posters to their local conservation district, where posters are judged by age group.  The local conservation district winners then move onto the state contest, where winners are selected from each state to move onto the National Competition.

This year’s stewardship theme is “Watersheds – Our Water, Our Home.”  The deadline for poster submissions to Dauphin County Conservation District is June 28th.  Posters may be delivered to the Dauphin County Conservation District (1451 Peters Mountain Road, Dauphin PA 17018), mailed, or emailed to, along with an entry form.  Please note that the poster must be received by June 28th to be considered.  The DCCD Entry Form can be downloaded here.
